Concerned about anonymity?
As of July 1, 2021, Florida Statutes 162.06 and 125.69 prohibits Code Compliance Inspectors from conducting investigations if the complaint is received anonymously; unless the Code Compliance Inspector has reason to believe that the violation presents an imminent threat to public health, safety, or welfare or imminent destruction of habitat or sensitive resources.

If you see a problem or concern?

• Call or e-mail the Code Compliance Division and give us the address and area of concern.
• We will respond as soon as possible.

Some issues may not be within the Town’s jurisdiction, but we may be able to provide information and assistance to direct you to the appropriate agency.

• Issues related to overhanging trees, shrubs or hedges, that encroach from one private property to another may be a civil matter between the two property owners. Please contact us and we will provide guidance on how best to proceed.
