Surfside adds PayByPhone Parking Option
Surfside becomes the newest PayByPhone client in South Florida

PayByPhone on March 23, 2015 continues to expand its presence in the Miami area, with the addition of availability in Surfside, Florida. Launching in both off-street lots and on-street spaces, PayByPhone is excited to be partnering with the Town of Surfside to bring more parking convenience to their residents and visitors. In 2008, the Miami Parking Authority partnered with PayByPhone and Miami became the first major US city to accept mobile payments for parking. Since then, PayByPhone has continued a rapid expansion in the South Florida area. Cities such as Coral Gables, South Miami, Fort Lauderdale, and Lauderdale-By-The-Sea have jumped at the opportunity to offer the same service to their residents and visitors. Surfside is now joining these municipalities as the newest PayByPhone enabled city in the region. Drivers can sign up for a free account with their credit card and license plate by downloading the PayByPhone app (iOS, Android, Amazon, Blackberry), or visiting paybyphone.com. Don’t have a smartphone? No problem. Users simply dial the toll-free number posted on signage and follow the voice prompts to set up an account.
